As an X10 Mini Pro owner are you feeling left out of the official CyanogenMod buzz? You shouldn’t be, this week there’s more activity on the MiniPro than any other mini Xperia. Also don’t worry, be patient, soon we’ll have that custom kernel with built in recovery. For now if you want to keep up with the news here’s the FreeXperia discussion thread where the latest release is FXP042, as soon as there’s instructions for the x10 Mini Pro to install Official CyanogenMod I’ll let you know!
The latest news on x10 mini pro firmwares over at XDA are as follows:
Flame.E v0.3[beta] – a new release with sense styling and ring design
GinTonic.SE | v2.4.3 – revival of GinTonic, Gingerbread 2.3.5
MiniCM7 – SonyStyle – V12 – paul-xxx’s sony styled version of MiniCM7
MiniCM7 Pro v17 – Mini pro port of MiniCM which is based on Cyanogen(mod) 7 – note FM radio is not working in this release
There’s a new release CyanMiniPro 1.0 Beta based on Flame.E but has no dual touch or radio at the moment.
If you’re not up to date, or starting out from scratch here’s the best place to get your device rooted and a recovery installed:
ClockWorkMod Installer – Windows v4, Linux v4 – for Windows users it’s all self contained in the zip file, Linux users need to root first; there are links to the Linux Rooter in the thread.
If you’ve tested or use any of the firmware listed please give feedback to other users via the comments.
