The latest X10 Mini Pro firmware news and releases from the XDA forums are as follows:
GinTonic.SE | v2.5.1 – revival of GinTonic, Gingerbread 2.3.7 with lots of tweaks and fixes from Slade87
MiniCM7 Pro – V20-Final (Stable) (STOPPED) – MiniCM7 for the X10 Mini Pro! When I read that development for this has stopped I was gutted but then I updated to this release and found it to be a super release and a great place to leave the development. Also the developer paul-xxx has stated that he’ll continue to release hotfixes!
KrSH 0.2.1 (beta) works with CM7.1 – this is a rather basic kernel, it seems the main aim was a kernel to support official CM. It includes CMW recovery v5. This development has been stopped by the developer but, good news, it has been passed on to paul-xxx (the developer of MiniCM Pro, SonyStyle and many more great releases!)
Flame.E v0.4[beta] CM 7.1.0.1 – this brings in elements of a number of releases but seems mainly based on GinTonic.SE
Re-Birth Of ArcMini [V8 Coming Soon] – ArcMini returns! A SE styled release based on GingerDX
[Module] X8MDDI – no more MDDI lags! | X8 | X10 mini | X10 mini pro | v001 – This isn’t a custom firmware but a module for developers to cook into their releases, hopefully this will give us all better performance in future releases.
If you’re not up to date, or starting out from scratch here’s the best place to get your device rooted and a recovery installed:
ClockWorkMod Installer – Windows v4, Linux v4 – for Windows users it’s all self contained in the zip file, Linux users need to root first; there are links to the Linux Rooter in the thread.

Why do you want to update? V4.x came with MiniCM Pro V18-19 but was buggy so v20 went back to V3.x
well, i tried to install it, the v20, but it just keeps rebooting!
Oh okay. I recently soft bricked my phone with cwm recovery 4.x so ‘repaired’ my phone via PC Companion, rooted and installed cmw via the cmwinstaller then flashed v16 and waited for v20 to come out and when it did wiped data, cache and battery stats and flashed it without any problem.
i’m using v20 with cwm 3 now. almost everything works great, except
(1) xLoud doesn’t stay on,
(2) the radio doesn’t work in Connected Music Player,
(3) the radio always plays on speaker, initially,
(4) rebooting to recovery doesn’t work,
(5) there is no symbol to help distinguish 2G and 3G service,
(6) and the battery seems to drain a bit quickly.
To me, these are just minor bugs. I can live with them, but if there are ways to perfect the rom, i’ll be happy to so.

Hello. I will update the guides soon but it takes time. I did a couple of videos showing repairing the phone via PC Companion and then rooting and installing a recovery using CWM Installer; you can find these in the recent posts.
yeah, try follow the recent video post in this site. the admin really made it clear (thanks so much). then download and flash it with cwm3. it’s all a smooth process. no tricks.
Please help me find ways to make these things above right. i’d really like a perfect rom with no bug at all.
There will always be some bugs, even official releases have some. I use MiniCM Pro V20 and although there are some bugs that have been reported I am not affected by them.
