Chumby_666 and owain94 has managed to
port honeycomb to xperia mini pro and xperia mini. Nothing really work right right now  (it’s in its very alpha state)  but it’s a start. You can find their progress here for xperia mini pro and xperia mini here.

Yes I know, honeycomb is a tablet os, why would they bother to port it to our phone with such small screen. First because they can and second, honeycomb won’t be forever for tablet. People had already discovered a phone UI deep inside honeycomb (although incomplete). When Google converged the 2 version of android, they would have a heads start on porting it. So get your finger crossed that they can put a stable honeycomb on our phone soon. And if by any chance you (anyone from Sony Ericsson) come to this blog and read this post, read this : the amazing developers is doing your jobs far faster and better with limited resources. You should be ashamed for abandoning us with 2.1.

Edit : And finally, a personal message from Chumby_666 for sony ericsson that follow the link I posted in your facebook page

Yes honeycomb is tablet os, and yes why QVGA, any yes we can.
Sony-Ericsson is you come here and see this post.
Message to you: DRM DOWN!
You explaination about partners and respecting their wishes doesn’t hold water.

1. Becouse partners think they are buying 100% SE phone for second time allready first time was case with X1.
2. SIM card locking sub-system could stay as till now in spare erom chip so drm no needed.
3. Playing around rules with open source and making SIN warpper as part of that source and his indirect connection to DRM which at and makes open source equal to monolith os which is in use in mobile phones like nokia, siemens, etc. BUT MOST FUNNY THING IS REASON BEHIND ALL THAT .. WELL THERE IS OLD SAYING .. YOU CAN’T SIT ON TWO CHAIRS .. MICROSOFT AND ANDROID ONE .. CHOOSE ONE.

Damn of all days today my phone battery had to be overdrained and i don’t have charger! So much free time on job, so many ideas and can’t do a s..t. Thanks to all future users of rom.
